As Coach Lizzie coached my daughter’s hockey clinic over the course of several weeks, I noticed my daughter progressing quite nicely with her skating and stickhandling abilities. Coach Lizzie was there to encourage my daughter each week not only during the clinic but after the rigorous sessions ended and my daughter needed words that mattered. Not only did I see a coach that has great experience, but one that has the ability to coach effectively and give timely encouragement. Our family has known Coach Heidi for 4 years. Our daughter met her in Little Kings when she was just starting her hockey career. Heidi was patient, supportive, and shared her hockey knowledge, making our daughter fall in love with the sport. She then moved on to participating in girl’s clinics with Coach Heidi and Coach Lizzie, where they fostered hockey IQ, passion for teamwork, and created a community of young hockey females. Over time, our daughter developed performance and separation anxiety, and we immediately called Heidi for support. She gave her opportunities to mentor young players and gain her confidence back. Coach Heidi has been an integral part of both our daughter’s hockey development, and we are so thankful for her support and guidance.
